Some areas for volunteer service include but not limited to, escorting patients or family members, providing office support, manning the information desk, and assisting in patient care areas. Volunteers can be found in almost every department of the hospital.

People of all ages are encouraged to volunteer at Baptist Hospital.  We ask that volunteers be willing to work four hours per week for at lease six months.  Most volunteers work during the business hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Some benefits of volunteering at Baptist Hospital include a free meal in the Baptist Hospital Bistro before or after your shift, annual Tuberculosis skin test, flu shot when available and special parking.  Beyond these benefits, volunteers tell us it’s the intangible benefits that keep them coming back, it’s the satisfaction of helping people, interacting with others, and learning new skills.
