Local Elementaries Receive A Grades
Chumuckla Elementary and Jay Elementary have achieved a grade of “A”. Jay was a “C” just last year. The students at JES met both the Reading and Math Proficiency. Neither school met the Adequate Yearly Progress. Chumuckla met 92% of the criteria and Jay had 95%. Winn. “Over the last decade we have continued to raise the achievement bar to ensure our students are learning the skills they need to be successful in today’s economy, and every time that bar has been raised our schools have redoubled their efforts to the direct benefit of children.”
