Lady Royals Summer Softball

The Jay High Lady Royals are participating in a summer softball training season.  JHS hosted Pace and Gulf Breeze on Tuesday night, June 19th.  Each team played two games.  This is an opportunity to give young players a chance to shine.  Destiny Herring, a 8th grader at Jay, did just that, hitting a 2 run homer in the first game against Gulf Breeze.  Destiny hit a bomb over the left field fence.

The Lady Royals will play on Tuesday nights through July 10th.   Each night there are three games.  Each of the teams will play two games.  Games last 1 hour and 20 min. each.

On Tuesday,  June 26th the Lady Royals will travel to West Florida High.  They will face West Florida in the first game at 5 pm then Escambia High in the second at 6:30.

Jay will host the July 3rd  games.  On July 3rd they will play  West Florida at 5pm and Pensacola High at 8 pm.  On July 10th they will travel to Escambia High and meet them in the first game at 5 pm then play Washington High at 6:30.
