Jr. Royals sweep WS Neal

The Jay High Jr. Royals won both games against W S Neal.  The Jr. Lady Royals defeated the Eagles 39-30.  The Eagles made a run in the second quarter outscoring the Royals 10-4 but was unable to overcome the overwhelming first quarter of the Royals 12-2. The Jr. Lady Royals will play against Pace on Thursday in their last game of the season.  Their record is 8-1.  The score at half was 16-12.

Scoring for the Lady Royals: Carissa Mulford -16 points, Desitny Herring -7 points, Kennedy Salter – 7, Briston Campbell -7 and Harley Tagert -2.

The Jr. High Boys won a close contest with W S Neal 34-32.  The Royals played a great defensive game and were able to contain the Eagles. The Royals focused the offence under the goal and Dakota Cassady was key in the win for the Royals.  The Jr. High along with the Junior Varsity will play Central on Thursday.

Scoring for the Royals were: Dakota Cassady – 18, Victor Mishoe -10, Stephen Archer – 3 and Josh Cobb -3.
