Week 6 Prep Football (With picks)
Bozeman (1-3) @ Jay (4-0)-Kickoff 7:00pm
It’s homecoming at Jay this week, just in case you hadn’t noticed all the toilet paper in the trees. The Royals welcome the Bucks from Bozeman to Merle V. North Stadium as they hope to improve to 5-0. Jay had it’s real first full competitive game last week with Holmes County and responded well. Up 16-14 and Holmes driving, senior Rylan Williams’ hit on the Blue Devils quarterback caused a fumble and fellow senior Tanner Mandell had the scoop and score. In four games, Jay’s defense has only allowed 28 points. Bozeman is coming off their first win of the season. Last week they defeated Sneads 28-20.
The two schools did not play last season.
Samson (2-2) @ Central (1-2)-Kickoff 7:00pm
Central is hosting the Samson (AL) Tigers this week. The Jaguars are coming off an open week. After winning in week one, Central has been outscored 71-8. Samson has dropped two games in a row as well. Elba and Brantley won their first two games of the 2026 season, but since has been outscored in the last two weeks, 81-12.
Last season, the two schools did not play.
Crestview (0-5) @ Pace (2-2)-Kickoff 7:30pm
The Pace Patriots are coming off an open week and a win in week 4 over Wakulla. The win over Wakulla ended the two game losing streak the Patriots were on after losing to Catholic and Choctaw. Crestview has had a tough season. After losing 13-10 to Lincoln in week one, the Bulldogs haven’t been able to keep games very competitive as they’ve dropped the last four by an average of nearly 27 points.
Last season, Pace defeated Crestview, 34-8.
Choctaw (2-2) @ Milton (1-3)-Kickoff 7:30pm
Milton is hosting Choctaw this week in an intriguing matchup. Milton is 1-3, but could’ve easily been 2-2. The Panthers are coming off an open week as well. Choctaw is on a two game winning streak after losing their first two games of the season. They defeated Pace and Niceville, respectively, their last two games.
