Bray Hendricks Park Ribbon Cutting
Around 100 people gathered at the Bray Hendricks Park reopening on Thursday. The much anticipated ribbon cutting event brought in citizens and dignitaries. The ceremony started with a welcome from Town Manager Eric Seib followed by a prayer from City Council member Mike Hutto. Mayor Shon Owens then gave the keynote address and told the story of the journey to get to the moment of reopening of the park.
Park has four different fields built around a building that will serve multiple purposes; a emergency stationed unit, bathrooms, concession stand, and gameday area.
Also new at the park is stationery workout area, tennis courts, basketball courts and pickleball courts.
