Prep Football Week 11 with predictions

BLACKSHER (8-1) @ JAY (5-4)—KICKOFF 7:00PM

It’s homecoming for Jay as they host J.U. Blacksher. While pregame festivities start at 6:30pm, toe meets leather at 7pm. Jay has won four in a row as the Bulldogs hope to put a damper on the Royals’ Homecoming weekend. Blacksher has won five in a row of their on. The two schools share just one common opponent and that’s the Central Jaguars. Both teams beat Central; Blacksher defeating them 26-7 while Jay bested the Jaguars 47-7.

Last year, Jay defeated Blacksher 49-23.

CENTRAL (2-6) @ WEWA (2-6)—KICKOFF 7:00PM

The Central Jaguars are on a winning streak for the first time in their young football history. The Jags have won their last two games, both on the road, by a combined score of 84-21! The road warriors will get back to it this week as they make the long trip to Wewa. While the Gators have the same record as Central, they are on a five game losing streak after winning two of their first three.

Last year, Central got it’s first win in the history of their program over Wewa, 34-28.

MILTON (7-2) @ PACE (8-1)—KICKOFF 7:30PM

Pace is hosting the rivalry game this week. The patriots have won eight in a row, after dropping the season opener, 34-21. Since then, the Patriots have won every game by three possessions or more, with the exception of a 20-18 win over Madison County. That is eight wins in a row, with that one exception, winning by 20 or more points. Milton, on the other hand, has been no stranger to winning the close games. In fact, four of the Panthers’ seven wins have been by one possession (three by three points or less). Milton has dropped two of their last four, including a 45-21 loss at Niceville last week.

Last season, Pace defeated Milton 48-0.

PREDICTIONS

Northsantarosa.com is 22-10 on the season. Last week, we went 2-2, missing out on Milton losing and Central winning. Let’s see how we do this week.

Jay will have their hands full as Blacksher comes in with HOCO-wrecking plans on their minds. However, the Royals will continue their winning ways as the Royals Pride Band plays the J-H-S Fight Song as Jay makes it five wins in a row…Jay 34 Blacksher 28

Make it three in a row for Central…Central 33 Wewa 7

Pace is good, but how will they respond in a close game? This one should be a fight to the finish, but we’re going to give the nod to the home team…Pace 35 Milton 28
