Jay Wins District

Jay High School volleyball ended Baker’s reign of district championships on Thursday. With the win, Jay improved to 21-4 on the year and ended Baker’s reign as district champions.
Jay won the first set, but Baker would win the next two. However, the Lady Royals would win the fourth set, forcing the 5th set. In the end, it came down to a new mindset for Jay; “We were tired of being runner up,” head coach Carey Locklin said. “The curse is over.”
