Little Miss Jay Winners announced
The Little Miss Jay Pageant took place last weekend with close to seventy girls competing for the titles. In the K-1st grade division, Emilee-Grace Braswell was crowned Queen. Her court included, Heather Flowers, Gracelyn Fretwell, Jozalyn Coy, and Lanie Kate Stephens. In the 2nd-3rd grade division, Ansley Steele was crowned Little Miss Jay. Her court included Kalynn Byrd, Bailey Anne Goossen, Jordan Sanders, and Brooklyn Sourrells. In the 4th-6th grade group, Jillian Thornton was crowned Miss Jay Elementary. Her court included Alayna Lowery, Mallory Floyd, Adyson Sheppard, and Hope Lashley. Lydia Bell was crowned Miss Jay Junior High. Her court included Carly Willis, Carly Sanders, and Madison Edwards. The Miss Jay High pageant crowned Miss Anabell Sheppard as queen. Her court included Savannah Dubose and Krissa Oliveri. The Peoples Choice winner was Sierra Robinson. The pageant was sponsored by the Jay High Cheerleaders. DVDs of the pageant were sold by the varsity baseball team and the senior class hosted a cake auction to help with Project Graduation.
