Jay Elementary Jr. Beta visits Ronald McDonald House
On May 10, the Jay Elementary Jr. Beta Club went to the Ronald McDonald House in Pensacola to deliver supplies that they bought using the money from the Top Teacher Tree fundraiser that they conducted around Christmas. They donated over $400 worth of supplies to the RMH and made gift bags for the moms of the house for Mother’s Day. They got to tour the house and learn about all of the things that the RMH provides for the families that stay there. The group was blown away at the extent of everything that they do! Without the community’s support, though, the RMH wouldn’t be able to provide as they do. The JES Jr. Beta Club would like to say THANK YOU to our school for helping us support the RMH by participating in the Top Teacher Tree Contest!!!
