State Champs Receive Rings
Jay-On Friday, the 2022 Lady Royals Softball Team received their state championship rings in a pregame ceremony before the Jay football game against Wewa.
The 2022 Lady Royals had an overall record of 22-5 and defeated Fort White 6-5 for the school’s first state title in softball.
“It was a very exciting to have all the girls back together, to see their faces and reaction to the rings was a very special moment for our team, school and community!” head coach Brian Watson stated.
